*This is my version of a Phylly Cheesesteak Tortellini Alfredo.
Most ingredients used are Great Value Brand to be Budget Friendly.
I have included the cost for these items so you know exactly how much I spent on this meal,
if you are like me and are trying to budget your meals.
Casseroles are always a great way to save money and stretch meals.
This meal has been Kid Approved. I have two. :)
Ingredients
1lb Ground Beef (73% Lean/ 27% Fat) $4.34
1 Bag Tortellini (Great Value 19oz) $2.98
1 Jar Alfredo Sauce (Great Value 16oz) $1.50
1 Block Cream Cheese (Great Value 8oz) $1.48
8 Slices Provolone Cheese (Great Value 12ct) $2.22
1 Green Bell Pepper $0.78
1 Yellow Onion $0.78
9x13 Casserole Dish
(*Optional: Blackstone Cheesesteak Seasoning $5.88)

Total Cost $14.08
*PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT*
STEP 1)
Chop Onion & Bell Pepper
STEP 2)
Start Tortellini
Follow Directions on Package.
Drain Water.
Place Cooked Tortellini in Casserole Dish.
STEP 3)
Add Ground Beef,
Chopped Onion,
Chopped Bell Pepper to Pan.
Cook on Medium High until Ground Beef is Browned.
Then Drain Off Fat.
(*Optional: Cheesesteak Seasoning (Not Sponsored) can be added but not neccessary,
OR add in own preferred seasonings)
STEP 4)
Once Fat is Drained from Ground Beef Mixture,
Place Back in Pan,
Add Alfredo,
and Cream Cheese.
Cook on Medium Low until Combined.
STEP 5)
Mix Together Tortellini
and Alfredo Mixture
into Casserole Dish
STEP 6)
Place 8 Slices of Provolone on top of
Tortellini Mixture until covered
STEP 7)
Bake in Oven on Middle Rack for 20 Minutes or
Until Cheese is Browned and Bubbly
*6 to 8 Hearty Helpings
